Marketing, Sales Coordinator

Overview:

We are looking for a full-time Marketing, Sales & Website Management Coordinator to join our small team and support our group of seasonal décor and lighting brands. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys variety, staying organized, and being involved in both the creative and customer-facing sides of the business. This full-time permanent position will be based at our Port Coquitlam facility.

About Us:

For over 30 years, Inc. has been in the Christmas lighting business. We manufacture and sell Christmas displays and lighting via our website and through our network of distributors in the USA. We also rent and install Christmas displays and lighting for cities, commercial properties and business districts in Greater Vancouver via our Star Illuminations Division.

We have 7-8 full time permanent staff that work year-round and then we grow to over 20 personnel each year during the Christmas season with many of our seasonal staff returning year after year. We emphasize a positive, supportive, professional work environment with a strong team approach and an organized systematic approach to providing our services to our customers, many who have used us for over 20 years. Christmas comes every year and with us working hard to provide the best quality of products and services to our customers, we are very fortunate to have very stable company performance year after year. As a result, would like to find someone for this position that is looking for a long-term career who will be able to take on more responsibility each year and have their compensation grow accordingly.

Job Description:

In your role, customer service/sales will play a big part. You'll be answering incoming calls, returning voicemails, responding to emails, and helping customers place orders or find the right products. You should enjoy chatting with people, feel comfortable on the phone, and be friendly, patient, and helpful—especially during our busy season. You'll also manage incoming orders from our websites, dealers, and third-party platforms, making sure everything is accurate and runs smoothly.

On the marketing and website side, you'll be helping to manage three companies marketing initiatives and websites – being hands-on with day-to-day website development and upkeep, making sure everything looks great and functions smoothly. This includes keeping product listings and inventory accurate, updating pricing and shipping rates, and managing product images, banners, and other visuals. You'll help plan, organize, and run promotions, website updates, and email marketing campaigns throughout the year. During the off-season, you'll play an active role in developing and carrying out marketing initiatives and customer outreach strategies to keep customers engaged year-round.

You'll also support general office and administrative tasks such as filing and shipping/receiving coordination. Because this is a seasonal business, flexibility is important—priorities can shift quickly, and we're looking for someone who's comfortable stepping in where help is needed and taking on new responsibilities as the role evolves.

Pay: $28.00-$33.00 per hour
