Duties

  • Assist in the preparation of meals and ingredients, ensuring all food is prepared to the highest quality standards.
  • Help cook various menu items according to recipes and guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Follow food safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
  • Participate in inventory by assisting with information of stock.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
  • Engage positively with team members and contribute to a supportive work atmosphere.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
  • Food Safe certificate required
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull up to 11.5 kilograms(25 pounds) without assistance
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  • Must have strong organizational skills and display high attention to detail
  • A passion for cooking and meal preparation, with a willingness to learn new skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.85-$23.00 per hour
