AMCO Manufacturing is looking for an inspector to join our quality control team inspecting machined parts for downhole tools.

Duties:

Conduct 1st-off inspections at machine.

Perform in-process and final inspections.

Inspect raw materials.

Document and report findings.

Organize, operate, repair, calibrate, and maintain precision measuring tools.

Participate in shop organization and improvement projects.

Assist in other departments as needed.

Skills/Qualifications:

Experience using precision measuring tools including; vernier caliper, OD&ID micrometer, dial-bore gages, depth gages, Gagemaker thread measuring tools.

Very detail oriented.

Willing and able to adhere to company policies and procedures.

Thorough understanding of machined-part drawings.

Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Physically able to lift parts up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods of time.

Previous machined-part QC experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $27.00-$33.00 per hour

  • Overhead crane: 1 year (preferred)
