**Job Summary**
- The QC Inspector inspects materials, parts, and/or products for conformance to blueprint specifications and standards using fixed or preset measuring instruments by performing the following duties:

- Inspect material or product for visual or surface defects such as cracks, pits and damaged finish, incomplete welds, structural flaws, hardness, etc.
- Verify specified dimensions of product or material with precision instruments such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and special gauges.
- Make acceptance/rejection decisions, referring questionable cases to supervisor.
- Identify and separate rejected parts, products, or assemblies, interpret test results and work with production to assure that corrective action is taken on defective items.
- Maintain records and complete inspection reports and non-conformance reports as required.
- Visually inspect and verify equipment to ensure accuracy.
- Verify third-party reports for conformance and accuracy.
- Input/extract information to/from SAP.
- Focused on continuous improvement in all areas.
- Ensures safe working practices and adheres to procedures.

**Minimum Job Qualifications**
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Experience with oilfield products, experience assembling/disassembling oilfield equipment.
- Strong understanding of ISO and API.
- ** The ability to work the evening shift is required**:

- Forklift, Overhead crane, WHMIS, and First aid tickets are a plus
