Your Impact
The Sr. Global Benefits Manager is responsible for the development, implementation, and communication of global employee benefit and well-being programs. OpenText is a fast-paced global software company that has grown rapidly. This position will partner with the regional rewards team, key stakeholders, and external vendors to align benefits with strategic business objectives, ensuring competitive programs to attract and retain top talent while remaining cost-effective.

This role will manage global reporting on benefits, retirement plans, leave programs, and vacations by using different data sources and developing a process for budgeting and approvals.

This role reports directly to the Senior Director of Global Benefits.

What The Role Offers

  • Dynamic position that provides and opportunity to make an immediate impact in our Total Rewards function while developing partnerships with other COE's to provide great benefits and improve our employee experience.
  • Develop new and efficient reporting on key benefit metrics to facilitate financial modeling and compliance tracking.
  • Working with the HRIT team to ensure our global benefits information and guides are current and up to date.
  • Manage the global annual renewal process for 42 countries, including the quarterly approvals process.
  • Partner with global HR teams to ensure statutory and voluntary benefit offerings comply and align with local market practices.
  • Lead a global project to evaluate potential benefits administration vendors and manage the transition to online benefits administration where it makes sense.
  • Be a champion of the employee experience in all things benefits focused on improving employee communications for benefits.
  • Assist in the management of our global wellbeing initiatives in partnership with OWN (our employee resource group for wellbeing) and the management of our global EAP program.

What You Need To Succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, or related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in benefits and benefits administration (consulting and corporate experience a plus) working in a fast-paced global organization.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills with experience pulling together data from different systems into Excel reporting.
  • 3+ years leveraging technology to enhance the benefits function and employee experience.
  • Experience managing global and local broker relationships to enhance benefit plans and control costs.
  • Ability to analyze data and apply critical and creative thinking to develop solutions that can be created quickly to meet the needs of our business.
  • Ability to influence across various functions and organizational levels to succeed in a highly matrixed, fast-paced organization with shifting priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex benefits information simply to varying levels of employees, including senior leadership.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and trustworthiness in handling confidential information.
