About This Role
Pine Ridge Memorial Gardens located in Ajax, Ontario is currently recruiting a
full-time
Branch Administrator for an 18-month contract
.

We are looking to fill this position with a qualified, action-oriented and self-motivated individual who is capable of prioritizing and handling multiple demands simultaneously.

This position is based on a 35-hour work week, and may change as required for the needs of the business, including working of overtime and weekends (Saturdays) when required.

Job Type: Full Time,18-month Contract
This role is to cover an upcoming maternity leave and is not currently vacant. The projected start date is March 2026.

Key Qualifications And Demonstrated Abilities

  • A minimum of a college diploma or equivalent.
  • At least two (2) years of previous working experience in office administration.
  • Experience within the cemetery and funeral sector is considered a strong asset.
  • Strong computer skills in MS Office including Word and Excel.
  • Excellent Customer Service skills.
  • Reliable and independent individual who has the proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a timely and in an effective manner.
  • Demonstrates strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate will all levels of the organization.
  • Organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Detailed-oriented and have strong administrative and data entry tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Providing outstanding customer service to the families we serve.
  • Answering the telephone and greeting customers. Delegating customer inquiries.
  • Responsible for completing interment, disinterment, and cremation dispositions by gathering all required information from Funeral & Cemetery Directors; scheduling interments, and collaborating closely with the Property Manager. Confirms pre-purchased products and services, enters all service details into FOCUS, and forwards finalized service work orders to Property staff. Ensures all trust withdrawals and installations are accurately processed in FOCUS following each interment or cremation.
  • Performing general office administration functions including processing certificates, cemetery contracts, data entry and various other tasks.
