based on client specifications, standards, policies, best practices, and cost models.
• Knowledge of integrated
networking technologies, mainframe, midrange servers (Azure, Migration, On prem to Cloud, application assessment)
• ability to provide technical leadership and guidance during solution design and implementation phases.
• Understanding of
OPS standards

• Ability to evaluate system conditions, technical performance, and capacity to determine feasibility of expansion or replacement

Experience and Skill Set Requirements
Solution Design & Technical Expertise (40%)
• Ability to design hosting technology solutions based on client specifications, standards, policies, best practices, and cost models.
• Knowledge of integrated networking technologies, mainframe, midrange servers, enterprise storage/SAN, and PC system technologies.
• Expertise in leading-edge technologies, design criteria, security and recovery procedures, and preparation of technical specifications for installation, testing, and performance.
• Experience planning, migrating, implementing, and sustaining large, complex system development projects.
• Ability to assess performance and capacity of existing systems and recommend improvements.
• Familiarity with technology developments, trends, and new products to evaluate applicability for short- and long-term requirements.
Leadership and Political Acuity (20%)
• Ability to provide technical leadership and guidance during solution design and implementation phases.
• Understanding of OPS standards, infrastructure management, service delivery processes, and procurement practices.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and navigate sensitive technical decisions while aligning with organizational objectives.
• Track record of meeting deadlines and managing multiple priorities effectively.
Analytical and Strategic Thinking Skills (20%)
• Strong conceptual and analytical skills to assess client needs and conduct cost/benefit analyses for new technology requirements.
• Ability to evaluate system conditions, technical performance, and capacity to determine feasibility of expansion or replacement.
• Knowledge of project management methodology (e.g., PMBOK) and analytical tools to support planning and design.
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills to address complex integration challenges and optimize system performance.
Communication and Relationship Management Skills (20%)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to prepare technical documentation, specifications, and reports.
• Ability to gather client business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills to work collaboratively with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• Teamwork skills and ability to participate in solution development activities and provide advice on short/long-term strategies.
