We are looking for a committed part-time (potentially full-time) in a busy 9 physician multi-specialist and interdisciplinary clinic.

The individual must be well-organized, eager to learn and have the ability to prioritize, multi-task with an excellent work ethic.

Knowledge and 1-2 years experience using QHR Accuro EMR system.

The candidate should have experience in a busy medical office environment.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office, providing exceptional support to both patients and healthcare professionals. This position requires strong organizational skills, with a good work ethic, proficiency in electronic medical records and the ability to manage front desk responsibilities effectively.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet patients warmly and manage front desk operations, ensuring a welcoming environment.

  • Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently using scheduling software QHR Accuro Technologies.

  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) and ensure all patient information is up-to-date and confidential.

  • Handle phone systems, answering calls promptly and addressing patient inquiries or directing them to appropriate staff members.

  • Assist with administrative tasks including filing, data entry and managing office supplies.

  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to facilitate smooth communication and patient care process.

  • Ensure compliance with all health regulations and office policies.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in a medical office setting would be preferred.

  • Familiarity with QHR Accuro Technologies would be preferred.

  • Strong administrative skills with experience in managing a front desk responsibilities.

  • Proficient in using phone systems and other office equipment.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient services.
