As a family-owned bakery, we believe in creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere where our customers feel like part of the family. We're looking for a friendly, energetic Storefront Associate to help us deliver exceptional service and a memorable experience to everyone who walks through our door.

What You'll Do:

• Customer Service: Greet customers with a warm smile and provide exceptional service. Answer questions about our Portuguese and Italian-inspired menu, daily specials, and products.
• Product Knowledge: Maintain a strong knowledge of our wide variety of fresh-baked bread, pastries, deli items, Italian and Portuguese specialties, coffee, and grocery items to assist customers with their choices.
• Order Fulfillment: Prepare and package items for takeout or on-the-spot orders. Ensure accuracy and care in fulfilling customer requests.
• Cash Handling: Operate the cash register, process payments, and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the storefront clean, organized, and inviting. Restock shelves, refresh displays, and ensure a tidy, welcoming space.
• Deli and Grocery Assistance: Help customers with their deli and grocery selections, ensuring all items are fresh and properly packaged.
• Support Team: Work closely with our family-oriented team to ensure smooth operations and a positive environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.20-$19.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 44 per week
