Link Suspensions of Canada, LP is looking for a Journeyman Welder/Fitter to join our Nisku, AB team

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Read and interpret Engineered drawings, blueprints and welding process specifications.
  • Fitting and fabrication of materials.
  • Perform welding tasks using MCAW and MIG.
  • Perform in-process inspection of welded products.
  • Operate equipment such as forklifts, overhead cranes.
  • Log hours worked on work orders, as required.
  • Maintain a tidy and safe work environment.
  • Follow all policies/procedures in relation to work processes and safety.

Qualifications:

  • Journeyman Welding or Metal Fabricator Certificate.
  • 3+ years of experience welding carbon steel with MCAW and MIG.
  • 5+ years of experience fitting/fabricating.
  • Certification through Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) an asset.
  • Ability to take direction and perform with minimum supervision.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and adherence to safety procedures.
  • Punctual and reliable.
