We are a small team of engineers, technicians, and designers determined to create top-quality automated manufacturing systems with a significant impact on our clients' businesses. Our services include process automation, equipment design, control and electrical engineering, production trials, robotic integration, technical project management, and Automation Deployment Roadmaps

Ongoing projects include

  • Research and development of environmentally friendly meat alternatives
  • High speed robotic handling of precious metals
  • Industrial manufacturing: automated assembly, punching, cutting
  • Integration of AI-based equipment effectiveness monitoring data collection terminals
  • Novel and automated agriculture for vertical farms

What to expect

First weeks

First Year

Build Project Experience

  • Follow software development of from concept to commissioning.
  • Travel to client's site for commissioning and support (local, national, and international), expected travel approx. 3-6 trips, 2 weeks in duration/year.
  • Design of control architecture for new machine builds from scratch
  • Gain new portfolio project experience in many industries: food manufacturing, light industrial, pharmaceutical, etc.
  • Safety PLC programming
  • Continual training

Required Qualifications

We ask candidates to apply only if they possess all the required qualifications.

  • University or college degree in electrical controls or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of experience developing PLC programs in an Industrial context
  • Ability to program in ladder logic and/or structured text
  • Natural problem solver with a positive can-do attitude
  • Attention to detail, good communication, organization, and decision-making skills

Additional Experience

Must have demonstrated experience in at least 3:

  • Control systems, network communication, and industrial process requirement definition for new machine builds
  • Installation and commissioning of control equipment:

o  
Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) integration—Omron or Siemens preferred

o  
Motion Control (Pneumatic, Servos, and VFD drives)

  • Robotic Integration— Yaskawa Motoman, UR, and Fanuc preferred
  • Familiarity with relevant codes and standards, including: CSA Z432-16 Safeguarding of machinery and C22.1 Canadian electrical code
