Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have a strong understanding of food safety and handling procedures. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while efficiently managing orders and ensuring satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent guest services throughout their dining experience.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Micros POS system, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff.
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as necessary.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and service stations, adhering to sanitation standards.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
  • Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally, striving to resolve any issues that may arise during their visit.
  • Assist in training new staff members on restaurant procedures and customer service expectations.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in the food service or restaurant industry is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with guests positively.
  • Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is essential.
  • Proficient time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is an advantage.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
