A leading global energy organization seeks a highly experienced Downstream Senior Strategist to join its Fuels Strategy & Capital Planning team. This role is central to shaping long-term business strategy, optimising capital allocation, and identifying key growth opportunities across the downstream value chain.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead scenario planning and downstream strategy development.
- Conduct market research, special studies, and strategic analysis for executive-level decision-making.
- Contribute to long-term strategic planning, including resource and capital allocation.
- Engage with global think tanks and industry experts to stay ahead of geopolitical, regulatory, and technological trends.
- Identify synergies and portfolio optimization opportunities to enhance business performance.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Business, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum 15 years of combined experience in refining, chemicals, trading, or retail marketing.
- At least 5 years focused on strategy formulation or scenario/strategic planning.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
