Junior Personal Injury Associate

Etobicoke, ON

Our client, a well-established litigation law firm is growing They are looking to add a Junior Associate to their personal injury team.

This role will focus on motor vehicle accident cases with some exposure to other personal injury matters. This is a permanent full-time role.

Key Responsibilities will include:

Draft and review a variety of legal documents including pleadings and correspondence

Collaborate with colleagues and legal professionals to create effective legal strategies and solutions

Attend hearings and pre-hearings

Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files, records, and documentation.

Stay informed about changes in legislation, legal trends, and precedents relevant to Ontario.

Requirements:

The successful candidate must be called to the Bar in Ontario with a valid license to practice law.

Some exposure to personal injury litigation is required.

Must have excellent problem-solving and communication skills both written and verbal.

Strong time management, attention to detail and sound judgement.

Eagerness to learn and a positive, can-do attitude.
