Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong sales mindset, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service. This role involves engaging with customers, demonstrating products, and assisting in creating a welcoming shopping environment. Bilingual abilities and experience in technology or retail sales are highly valued. The Sales Associate will play a key role in driving sales through effective merchandising, upselling, and product knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
  • Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to customers, including technical sales when applicable
  • Assist with merchandising displays to enhance product visibility and appeal
  • Operate POS systems accurately for transactions including cash handling and cashiering duties
  • Upsell products and services to maximize sales opportunities
  • Maintain organized shelves and ensure the store environment is clean, inviting, and well-stocked
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally
  • Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently during shifts
  • Utilize phone etiquette skills when communicating with customers over the phone or via other channels
  • Support team members in achieving store goals through collaboration and communication skills

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus
  • Previous experience in retail sales, merchandising, or technology sales preferred
  • Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and cashiering procedures
  • Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory management
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly demeanor
  • Ability to demonstrate products effectively through demos or technical explanations
  • Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
  • Professional phone etiquette for customer interactions over the phone or online
  • Experience with upselling techniques to increase sales revenue
  • Basic knowledge of retail operations including cash handling and POS systems

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $15.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
