JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION DETAILS:

The AI Development Manager will be responsible for leading the strategy, design, and implementation of AI-powered solutions across TNG's platforms and services. This role involves managing cross-functional AI teams, overseeing machine learning model development, driving automation, and ensuring seamless integration of AI capabilities into business processes.

As a key leader in TNG's technology organization, this individual will be responsible for guiding research initiatives, ensuring scalable AI deployment, maintaining compliance, and aligning innovation with business objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the planning, development, and implementation of AI/ML strategies to enhance TNG's products and services.
• Manage, mentor, and grow a team of AI engineers, data scientists, and software developers.
• Oversee machine learning model lifecycle management — from data acquisition and feature engineering to training, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define AI opportunities and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Drive the integration of AI solutions into TNG's digital infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
• Establish and enforce MLOps practices for continuous integration, delivery, and monitoring of AI models.
• Ensure compliance with relevant data privacy regulations and ethical AI practices.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies, tools, and frameworks to maintain TNG's competitive edge.
• Manage budgets, timelines, and resources for AI initiatives while ensuring efficient project execution.
• Serve as the AI subject matter expert and provide strategic insights to senior leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML development, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Proven track record of successfully deploying machine learning or deep learning solutions in production environments.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with major AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
• Strong understanding of data engineering, cloud-based AI platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and model deployment pipelines.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and driving AI initiatives from conception to production.

Preferred:

• Master's or Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related discipline.
• Experience with Generative AI (e.g., OpenAI, LangChain, Hugging Face) and LLM-based solutions.
• Knowledge of MLOps frameworks such as Kubeflow, MLflow, or SageMaker.
• Familiarity with financial services, fintech products, and compliance-driven environments.
• Certifications in AI/ML or cloud-based AI solutions.
