Job Title: 310S Mechanic (310T Preferred)

Location: Dundas, Ontario

Reports To: Fleet Service Coordinator

Work Schedule: Full-Time, Monday to Friday

About the Role

We're looking for a Mechanic to join our Fleet team at our central garage in Dundas. In this role, you'll help keep our trucks and equipment running safely and reliably by performing inspections, repairs, and regular maintenance.

You'll work in a well-equipped garage with heavy truck hoists, updated tools, and the support of a knowledgeable fleet team. All work clothing and safety gear are provided.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair a variety of trucks, vehicles, and equipment
  • Perform regular preventative maintenance and safety checks
  • Complete work orders, including notes on repairs and parts used
  • Identify and communicate parts or supplies needed for repairs
  • Assist with light fabrication and welding when required
  • Keep the shop area clean, organized, and safe
  • Support other mechanics when needed
  • Perform occasional off-site repairs or maintenance
  • Other duties as assigned to support the fleet team

What You Bring to the Table

  • 310S license required; 310T license preferred
  • Member in good standing with Skilled Trades Ontario
  • Valid G-Class driver's license; DZ or AZ is an asset.
  • Experience with fleet or heavy equipment maintenance (diesel, hydraulics, emissions systems, DEF/SCR, etc.) is an asset
  • Experience using diagnostic scan tools is preferred
  • Welding and fabrication skills are an asset
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills

Pay: $42.00-$44.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
