Job Description
Our client is seeking a professional and dynamic Office Administrator to support their dedicated and driven team. This full-time, three-month contract position, based in Dartmouth, will be responsible for maintaining and strengthening the organization's office administration.
Key Responsibilities for the Job:
- Manage all internal office operations and processes
- Build and maintain strong relationships with employees to streamline and optimize departmental functions
- Leverage creativity and problem-solving skills to enhance team productivity and outcomes
- Act as a primary support for event coordination, special events, office activities and planning
- Support travel arrangements, maintain calendars/bookings when required
- Oversee phone services, email correspondence and mail distribution
- Support inventory management
- Proactively manage office supplies and monitor inventory
- Maintain records, documentation and files
Experience & Attributes for Success:
- 2 - 4 years' experience in a similar, versatile administrative support role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software and other related software
- High capacity to adapt to changes and re-evaluating priorities
- Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented
- Ability to function in fast paced environment
- Critical thinker with effective problem-solving skills
- Creative outlook on process improvements
- Motivated and inspired to work with a dynamic group of people
