Residential Cleaning Manager (Hands-On Leader)

We're growing — and we're looking for a strong, hands-on Residential Cleaning Manager who leads by example, enjoys being in the field, and takes real pride in a job done right.

This role is ideal for someone who loves working with people, isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves, and wants to work closely with a business owner in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading and supporting a team of approximately 12 residential cleaners
  • Working in-team when needed and going onsite to supervise, inspect, and support quality control
  • Coaching staff, reinforcing standards, and keeping morale strong
  • Communicating clearly with the office and addressing issues professionally
  • Ensuring company cleaning procedures, safety standards, and client expectations are consistently met

What We're Looking For

  • Previous residential cleaning experience is a must
  • Strong leadership and people skills — calm, confident, and fair
  • Clear spoken and written English (this is non-negotiable)
  • Valid driver's licence and your own vehicle
  • We do have company vehicles for workday use
  • You must be able to reliably get to our office with your own car
  • This position is not suitable for candidates relying solely on transit
  • Organized, dependable, and solution-focused
  • Someone who enjoys building trust, structure, and long-term success

Team Development & Hiring

  • Participating in the hiring, onboarding, and training of new residential cleaning staff
  • Providing input on team fit, performance, and readiness
  • Supporting performance reviews and ongoing staff development
  • Working closely with the owner on staffing decisions and team growth

Compensation

  • Starting at $25/hour
  • Gradual increase up to $30/hour based on performance, leadership, and growth in the role
