Overview:

  • Strong knowledge of retail sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
  • Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal & written).
  • Familiarity with security alarm systems – enabling and disabling.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to sales software quickly.
  • Able to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Job Duties:

  • Open and Close retail store, including activating and deactivating alarms.
  • Provide a high level of customer service; build quality relationships with customers, suggest new products, provide product knowledge, and remind them of upcoming sales.
  • Organize and unpack stock on order days
  • Assist Team Leader with Weekly inventory Counting
  • Greet customers warmly and provide them with a welcoming environment.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of cannabis strains, products, and industry trends.
  • Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with all state regulations regarding the sale of cannabis products.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dispensary area.
  • Educate customers about product usage, effects, and safety information.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.

· The Budtender must have the ability to learn on the fly in an ever-changing work environment. This requires the individual to have a proactive versus reactive mind set, allowing the Budtender to independently solve situations.
