Overview

We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring customer satisfaction and timely deliveries. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience handling warehouse operations. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on safety, customer service, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations
  • Load and unload construction items using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or manual handling techniques
  • Ensure accurate delivery of products while maintaining proper documentation and delivery logs
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times, directions, and any issues that arise
  • Assist with warehouse tasks including moving inventory, organizing stock, and maintaining cleanliness
  • Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during transportation and loading/unloading processes
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate deliveries and pickups efficiently

Skills

  • Proven experience in commercial driving and warehouse operations
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical moving of goods safely
  • Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus but not mandatory
  • Strong customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with clients
  • Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and customer engagement
  • Knowledge of safety procedures related to moving, loading, unloading, and driving heavy equipment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to schedules and deadlines
  • Good organizational skills for managing delivery routes and documentation effectively

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
