Our services include security alarm systems, surveillance cameras, card access systems, and VoIP telephone systems.

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Security Alarm Installation & Service Technician to join our Team.

Position Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and troubleshooting of residential and commercial security alarm systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, service, and troubleshoot residential and commercial burglary alarm systems
  • Perform hands-on field work independently or as part of an installation/service team
  • Accurately document installations, service work, and troubleshooting activities
  • Read and interpret installation drawings, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Use and maintain common low-voltage tools, meters, and testing equipment
  • Maintain professional communication with clients and internal team members
  • Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of field experience installing DSC, 2GIG, Bosch or ICT alarm systems
  • Strong understanding of low-voltage security systems
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently
  • Valid Ontario driver's license
  • Clean Police Clearance Certificate
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders and man lifts

Assets

  • Experience with camera systems (analog and IP-based)
  • Experience with card access systems - knowledge or certification of Kantech and/or Keyscan products
  • Data cabling and/or telephony experience
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with IP networking

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Attention to detail and strong documentation skills
  • Comfortable working in commercial environments

Compensation

  • Hourly wage: $24.00 – $30.00, depending on experience

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour
