The Role:
If you love getting your hands on the latest tech and making a real impact, keep reading As our next Technology Installer, you'll play a key role in setting up, keeping up, and leveling up our security game. You'll deal directly with the tech that guards our clients, ensuring our systems are sleek, secure, and smartly set up.
What We Need You To Do:
- Setting up, installing, and maintaining the latest IP camera and security systems in the business
- Solving puzzles – troubleshooting issues that pop up with IP cameras and networks
- Keeping systems up-to-date via regular system checks and securing them by applying software updates
- Offering your technical know-how to our clients, tailoring solutions that meet their unique needs
- Collaborating with other members of the CamNet team to brainstorm and implement security systems
- Keeping records, compiling documentation, and labelling that makes sense and keeps us organized
- Professionally interact with clients; dress appropriately, be on time, and explain your work
Who You Are:
- You've been in technology for a while, with an understanding of IP networking
- You have some experience with alarm, camera, audio, or card access systems
- You have good attention to detail and love to solve puzzles
- You have a basic understanding of electrical and are comfortable running and terminating networking cabling
- You have experience working with tools (drill, hand tools, etc.) and are comfortable on the ground or working at heights (ladders and lifts)
- Can lift and carry 50 pounds of equipment
- Are willing to work in a variety of conditions, including indoors, outdoors, and on rooftops
- Have a valid G-class driver's license in good standing, and can get a police clearance
