The Opportunity
We are seeking a Toronto or Montreal based professional with 2 to 3 years of experience in Lean and Operational Excellence, preferably in a consulting environment, to join Kaizen Institute, a globally respected leader in lean consulting.
As a Process Improvement Consultant, you will partner with clients to drive efficiency, eliminate waste, and implement sustainable continuous improvement initiatives. We offer structured training, ongoing mentorship, and exposure to diverse industries to support your professional development and long-term success.
What You'll Do
- Partner with clients: Build trusted relationships with clients across various industries to deeply understand their operations and challenges.
- Identify improvement opportunities: Conduct process assessments, value stream mapping, and data analysis to find areas for optimization.
- Develop solutions: Design and implement lean methodologies, Kaizen principles, and change management strategies to streamline processes and eliminate waste.
- Train and coach: Lead workshops and training sessions to equip client teams with the tools and knowledge to sustain a culture of continuous improvement.
- Drive results: Measure and track the success of improvement initiatives, ensuring clear ROI for clients.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree: In business, engineering, or a related field.
- Fluency in both English and French is required.
- Passion for process improvement: Experience and a strong interest in continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.). Coursework or projects demonstrating this are a plus.
- Analytical mindset: Exceptional ability to analyze data, identify trends, and root causes of inefficiencies.
- Excellent communication: Ability to present complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences, both verbally and in writing.
- Client-centric: Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for helping clients achieve their goals.
- Eagerness to learn: A proactive attitude and desire to grow professionally within the field of operational excellence.
