Overview

We are a family-owned small business looking for a dependable, customer-focused, and adaptable Multi-Role Team Member to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their work and can confidently support both front-end customer service and back-end warehouse operations.

The successful candidate will assist customers, process orders, handle warehouse duties, and complete deliveries as needed. Strong communication skills, computer literacy, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and a valid driver's licence are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally
  • Greet customers warmly and assist with product questions and orders
  • Enter and process customer orders accurately using the computer system
  • Pick, pack, and prepare products from the warehouse/stockroom with attention to detail
  • Help customers load their vehicles or coordinate delivery to job sites
  • Operate a company vehicle safely to deliver products in a timely manner
  • Support additional tasks such as inventory, merchandising, and general operations as required
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Follow all workplace safety procedures while handling products, using equipment, and driving

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Basic computer skills and comfort working with order/inventory systems
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tasks and procedures
  • Strong time management and ability to work under pressure
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs independently
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Valid Class G driver's licence with a clean driving record
  • Previous experience in customer service, warehouse work, or delivery driving is an asset (but not required)
  • Willingness to take on multiple responsibilities in a small business environment

Working Conditions

  • Physical work including standing, walking, lifting, and carrying throughout the day
  • Delivery driving may include lifting and moving larger packages at customer locations

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
