Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Customer Service & Graphic Design Apprentice to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who wants to gain experience in customer service and graphic design while working in a fast-paced B2B environment.

Alongside front-desk responsibilities, you will be involved in creating visual marketing materials such as flyers, product sheets, and promotional graphics. Applicants should have basic design knowledge and be able to provide samples of previous design work.

Responsibilities:

Customer Service & Reception

  • Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries
  • Greet and assist walk-in customers
  • Take customer orders (phone, email, in-person)
  • Prepare invoices, packing slips, and documentation
  • Monitor and respond to emails professionally
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area

Administrative Support

  • Enter orders into our system
  • Assist with filing and document organization
  • Follow up on quotes and customer questions

Graphic Design & Marketing

  • Design flyers, promotional materials, and product sheets
  • Create graphics for newsletters, sales promotions, and social media
  • Follow brand guidelines and maintain consistent design quality
  • Prepare visual assets for email marketing campaigns
  • Work with both simple and advanced design tools

Qualifications:

Required

  • Strong communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design principles
  • Experience with at least one of the following design tools:

Canva / Adobe Photoshop / Adobe Illustrator / Adobe InDesign / Any equivalent design software

  • Comfortable using computers and office applications
  • Organized, reliable, and willing to learn

Assets (Not Required, But Preferred)

  • Experience designing flyers, banners, or promotional graphics
  • Basic photography or photo-editing skills
  • Experience with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, etc.)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
