Asana's Enterprise Technology team is looking for a Salesforce Developer, CPQ to join our team. We need a self-starter who has an insatiable desire to learn, an ability to drive projects from idea to completion, and a knack for finding creative solutions to complex challenges. In this role, you will partner directly with the Engineering Manager for OTO (Opportunity-to-Order) to own the technical roadmap and architect scalable billing and configuration systems. This is a great opportunity for someone who is experienced with developing in Salesforce to build out the processes that will drive the next level of efficiency for our company.
This role is based in our Vancouver office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams with which you partner. If you're interviewing for this role, your recruiter will share more about the in-office requirements.
What you'll achieve:
- Take full ownership of CPQ and Revenue technology initiatives, driving projects from initial idea to completion while co-creating with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Build and optimize the Lead to Cash cycle, including complex revenue attribution mechanics, pipeline automation, and advanced approval processes.
- Manage and mature our CI/CD pipeline for code (metadata) and CPQ Configuration Data migration using GitHub, SFDX CLI, and Gearset.
- Design and implement logic for varied billing models, specifically consumption-based, token-based, and services billing (in hours).
- Promote high standards in system architecture and clean, efficient code (Apex, LWC) with appropriate unit test coverage and documentation.
- Explore and integrate emerging technologies into the CPQ ecosystem, with a focus on AI, Agentic AI, and Copilots.
About you:
- 8+ years of Salesforce development experience with a deep technical foundation in Apex, LWC, Flows, and APIs.
- 3+ years of dedicated experience in Salesforce CPQ, with mandatory knowledge of Sales Cloud - CPQ and Partner CPQ.
- Expert understanding of Configuration, Pricing, Approvals, exceptions, and validations.
- Must have hands-on experience with consumption-based, token-based, and services billing models.
- Highly proficient in DevOps best practices, specifically for code and CPQ Configuration Data migration using GitHub, SFDX CLI, and Gearset.
- A strong collaborator with a "must-have" ability in planning, organizing, and communicating technical concepts to non-technical partners.
- A proactive problem-solver who takes ownership of their work and actively seeks to co-create within a team environment.
- Demonstrates curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies, with a willingness to learn and leverage them to enhance productivity, collaboration, or decision-making.
- Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist and Platform Developer II are preferred.
