Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires proficiency in various accounting software and a strong understanding of accounting principles to support our financial operations effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Prepare and process payroll accurately and on time.
  • Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks for financial reporting and data entry.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to support financial planning.
  • Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audits and compliance purposes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information.
  • Provide support during the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software QuickBooks is essential.
  • Strong understanding of bank reconciliation, payroll processing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving.
  • Knowledge of budgeting principles is a plus.
