S+C Partners provides first-class professional tax services, accounting, advisory and information technology services to successful privately owned enterprises. A mid-sized public accounting firm located in the heart of Streetsville, ON, we are seeking an experienced **Bookkeeper proficient in QuickBooks Online**. You will have 3 to 5 years’ bookkeeping experience, high attention to detail, excellent communication skills to interact with like-minded professionals and clients, as well as work collaboratively within the team.

**Your key responsibilities in this role will include, but not limited to**:

- Maintain cloud-based books of account for select clients in various industries
- Prepare journal entries and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly/quarterly/yearly cloud based financial statements
- Complete remittances and government reporting requirements for payroll, HST, EHT, workers compensation, etc.
- Prepare NTR’s in support of client requirements
- Maintain accurate and complete trail of supporting documentation for all accounting activities using the firm’s secure FTP site
- Manage payroll functions for select clients as requested
- Manage and grow the firm’s roster of QBO clients

**You will possess the following skills and qualifications**:

- Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proactive individual; manage tight deadlines and multiple deliverables; work independently, escalating issues when appropriate
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Suite), high level proficiency with QuickBooks online, Sage, Xero or Wave; knowledge of associated apps would be an asset (i.e. Receipt Bank, WagePoint, Hubdocs, etc.)

**Your education and experience will consist of**:

- Community College Diploma/Certificate in Accounting/Bookkeeping
- Certified Professional Bookkeeper (CPB) status with the Institute of Professional Bookkeepers of Canada (IPBC) would be an asset
- QuickBooks Online certified or equivalent
