Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and supplies are sterilized and ready.
- Assist dentists during various dental procedures.
- Take dental radiographs using CAD technology when necessary.
- Manage patient records accurately using dental software .
- Provide post-operative instructions to patients and answer their questions professionally.
- Maintain infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, confirming patient visits, and managing patient intake as a dental receptionist when needed.
- Educate patients on oral health care practices and treatment plans.
- Assist with ordering supplies and maintaining inventory levels.
Experience
- Prior experience in dental assisting is preferred; certification or formal training in dental assisting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with dental practice management software .
- Knowledge of dental terminology .
- Strong communication skills combined with the ability to work collaboratively within a team are essential for success in this role. This position offers an engaging environment where your skills directly contribute to improving patients' oral health while supporting the overall efficiency of our practice.
