Pemberton Veterinary Hospital is a full-service mixed animal practice proudly serving the Pemberton Valley and surrounding communities. We care for both small and large animals, offering personalized, compassionate service to every client and patient.

Our reception team is the heart of the clinic—greeting clients, coordinating care, and ensuring every visit runs smoothly.

What You'll Do:

As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will:

  • Welcome clients and patients with warmth and professionalism
  • Answer calls, respond to inquiries, and schedule appointments
  • Process payments and maintain accurate client and patient records
  • Communicate clearly with clients about services, instructions, and follow-ups
  • Assist with prescription pickups and review instructions under veterinary guidance
  • Support administrative tasks such as emails, filing, and invoicing
  • Keep the reception area calm, organized, and inviting
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure a seamless client experience

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience (veterinary or medical setting preferred)
  • Veterinary receptionist training or education is an asset, but not required
  • Strong communication, multitasking, and computer skills
  • Calm, compassionate, and confident—even under pressure
  • A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Passion for animals and client service
