expertise, and the ability to provide leadership and guidance to the accounting staff while meeting tight month-end deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting, including month-end and year-end closings.
- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
- Oversee inventory and payroll reconciliations.
- Support and guide the accounting team on financial reporting practices.
- Review subcontractor, installation, and PO reports for accuracy.
- Prepare commodity tax filings and vendor payment approvals.
- Analyze manufacturing cost data and assist with cost roll activities.
- Ensure JDE data accuracy across all financial processes.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 5–7 years of experience in a
manufacturing or industrial environment
. - Strong knowledge of
JD Edwards (JDE)
. - Proficient with inventory accounting and cost of goods sold.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
