Job Title: Dual Property General Manager

Location: Four Points Edmonton West & Element Edmonton West (Dual Property – One Complex)

Together, they offer a blend of short-stay and extended-stay accommodations, corporate and leisure travel appeal, and an onsite restaurant that serves guests from both flags. Known for warm service, operational excellence, and consistency in the guest experience, our dual-property hotel is seeking an experienced and dynamic Dual Property General Manager to lead the combined operation and continue elevating performance across the complex.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations across the full dual-property complex, ensuring seamless coordination between both brands under one roof.
  • Lead, develop, and motivate a shared team structure—front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and F&B—while ensuring brand-specific service expectations are met for both Four Points and Element guests.
  • Maintain exceptional guest service standards and ensure both brands consistently exceed Marriott guest satisfaction benchmarks.
  • Oversee operations of the onsite restaurant, ensuring alignment with hotel service standards and a high-quality dining experience for guests of both properties.
  • Manage financial performance for the full complex, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, labor planning, and revenue optimization.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, extended-stay performance, and overall market competitiveness.
  • Build strong relationships with guests, corporate accounts, long-stay clients, and community partners.
  • Ensure compliance with Marriott brand standards, audit requirements, QA processes, and regulatory obligations.
  • Drive operational efficiency through effective scheduling, productivity management, and streamlined internal communication.
  • Foster a unified culture of accountability, teamwork, and hospitality across the dual-property environment.

Qualifications:

  • Previous hotel management experience is required, ideally within a branded or dual-property/full-service environment.
  • Experience with Marriott systems or standards is an asset
  • Proven leadership track record with the ability to manage teams across multiple departments and service areas.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results in guest satisfaction, operational metrics, and financial performance.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing complex budgets and P&Ls.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-brand operational environment where priorities shift quickly.
