RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding project progress
- General and/or finishing carpentry duties as assigned
- Read and understand blueprints, designs and plans
- Work with subcontractors, other carpenter's and project manager's to accomplish project goals
- Perform additional duties as needed
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Sound knowledge of all aspects of residential construction
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to find solutions
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining JSB's high standards of quality and craftmanship
- Sound knowledge of all aspects of residential construction
- Ability to prioritize different tasks and utilize time management skills
- Ability to follow instructions
- Able to work as a group or individually as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid G level driver's license with clean abstract is an asset
- Capable of standing, bending and lifting for extended periods
- 5+ years experience in residential construction an asset
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
* Wages are negotiable and will be based on experience *
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 44 per week
