JOverview:

We are seeking an experienced, reliable, hardworking construction worker to join our team. You will be responsible for performing various physical tasks on the jobsites. This position requires you to meet in St. Thomas and depending on job location, being gone for extended stays. All meals and accommodations will be provided when staying away from home.

Responsibilities:

· **Work outdoors in all weather conditions

  • Load, unload, and organize materials and tools on-site
  • Perform basic construction tasks such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols
  • Advanced experience with hand tools required
  • Follow instructions to ensure project timelines are met

Skills:

· Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks

· Ability to work well in a team environment

· Advanced knowledge of hand and power tools

· Good communication skills to follow instructions effectively

· Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in tasks performed

· Ability to adapt to changing work environments and tasks

· Accurately read a tape measure

· Ability to work at heights

· Ability to operate mobile equipment

· Must have a current class G drivers license with a clean drivers abstract

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 per hour to start, negotiable with experience

Schedule:

  • Hours on shift may vary
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
  • Extended stays as needed

Working at Heights Certificate
