YOUR ROLE
Reporting to the Electrical & Instrumentation Maintenance Supervisor, the Instrumentation Technician will support the mill's continuous improvement efforts through construction projects and general preventative maintenance.

Your Responsibilities
ü Troubleshoot and repair process control instrumentation;

ü Regular predictive/preventative maintenance;

ü Servicing of control valves, emission monitors and kraft pulp analyzers;

ü Use computer diagnostics and testing to monitor, measure and troubleshoot processes;

ü Clean and perform routine maintenance work.

Your Qualifications
ü BC Journeyperson and/or Interprovincial Red Seal Industrial Instrumentation & Control Technician Certification

ü Experience working in a safety sensitive industrial work environment;

ü Strong computer system aptitude and experience working with various types of software including Microsoft Office Suite and a computerized maintenance system (i.e. SAP);

ü Possessing a dual ticket qualification in Electrical and/or HVAC in addition would be an asset.
