Skills

Experience with some or all of the following systems would be expected:

  • Roof top equipment
  • Package heating and cooling units
  • MUA units
  • Chillers
  • Air handlers
  • Residential and commercial boilers
  • HRV's and ERV's
  • Geothermal systems
  • Building heat pump systems
  • System controls
  • Residential and commercial
  • Gas work
  • Furnaces, AC and Heat pumps
  • Ductless systems

Responsibilities

As an HVAC Service Technician you will be responsible for the following:

  • Diagnose, service, repair and maintain residential and commercial HVAC equipment and systems.
  • Install boilers, water heaters, fixtures, piping and gas lines.
  • Clearly communicate both verbally and in writing; issues, diagnosis and resolutions.
  • Follow safety standards and keep accurate documentation.
  • Source and order repair parts when required.
  • Create estimates.
  • Provide an exceptional customer experience with every service call.
  • On call
  • Other duties not listed may be assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Red Seal Journeyman/Journeywoman Refrigeration Technician or registered apprentice with a gas "A" ticket (required)
  • Red Seal Plumber or registered apprentice (Preferred)
  • Valid Driver's License and clean abstract
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Reliable, Professional and team-oriented

Other Qualifications (In house training can be provided)

  • AWP Certification
  • Confined Spaces Certification
