Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and personable Nail Technician to join our beauty team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements, while delivering outstanding customer service. This role offers an opportunity to create beautiful results for clients in a welcoming environment, utilizing your expertise in nail artistry and sanitation practices. A background in body waxing, retail sales, and upselling is a plus, as it helps enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue. The Nail Technician will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of hygiene and ensuring clients leave feeling pampered and satisfied.

Responsibilities

  • Perform professional nail care services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and other nail enhancements
  • Maintain strict sanitation and sterilization procedures to ensure client safety and hygiene standards are met
  • Provide excellent customer service by understanding client needs and offering personalized recommendations
  • Engage in retail sales by suggesting nail care products and additional services to enhance the client experience
  • Upsell additional treatments such as body waxing or spa services when appropriate
  • Educate clients on proper nail care routines and aftercare instructions
  • Create a relaxing and welcoming environment for clients during their appointments
  • Manage appointment schedules efficiently to maximize client satisfaction and salon productivity

Qualifications

  • Valid state license or certification as a Nail Technician or Cosmetologist with nail specialty
  • Proven experience in performing various nail treatments with attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
  • Knowledge of sanitation protocols and best practices for hygiene in a salon setting
  • Experience with body waxing, retail sales, and upselling techniques is preferred but not required
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and retain clients
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and quality standards
