Nail Technician Job Description

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Nail Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of nail care and body waxing, coupled with excellent customer service skills. As a Nail Technician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nail services while ensuring a clean and sanitized environment for our clients. Your ability to communicate effectively and upsell products will contribute to an exceptional client experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of nail services, including manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements.
  • Sanitate tools and workstations according to industry standards to maintain a safe environment.
  • Provide body waxing services as needed, ensuring client comfort and satisfaction.
  • Communicate with clients to understand their preferences and provide tailored services.
  • Upsell retail products and additional services to enhance the client experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed and client preferences.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in nail care and beauty treatments.

Experience

  • Previous experience as a Nail Technician or in a related field is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of nail care techniques and body waxing procedures.
  • Proven customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Experience in retail sales and upselling is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
