Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team. This role involves performing cleaning tasks to maintain a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment across various facilities. The ideal candidate will be committed to quality work, punctuality, and adhering to safety standards. Prior cleaning experience is a plus but not required, as training will be provided.

Duties

  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to ensure cleanliness and safety.
  • Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors to maintain clarity and appearance.
  • Empty trash receptacles and replace liners regularly.
  • Disinfect restrooms, kitchens, and common areas following sanitation protocols.
  • Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
  • Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines at all times.

Skills

  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts.
  • Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may involve bending, lifting, or standing for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and reporting issues.
  • Prior experience in cleaning or custodial services is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for all new hires. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a clean and safe environment while developing valuable skills in facility maintenance.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.75-$18.75 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
