Better Life Counselling & Therapy is seeking experienced RCCs and CCCs to join our established Victoria practice as independent contractors.

About Our Practice

A Better Life Through Psychotherapy and Healing has served communities across BC since 1995. Over 25+ years, we've helped hundreds of individuals, couples, and families experience greater connection and vitality. Our practice is grounded in the Satir Family Systems framework, and we're looking for clinicians who share our values of authenticity, collaboration, and professional excellence.

Location: Viewmont Ave, Victoria, BC V8Z 6L8

The Opportunity

As an independent contractor, you'll:

  • Provide in-person and virtual counselling to individuals, couples, and families
  • Receive steady referrals from our active waiting list
  • Set your own schedule using available office hours
  • Work with administrative and collegial support

Current availability we're looking to fill:

  • Fridays 8:30am-2:30pm (in-person)
  • Saturdays 10am-4pm (in-person)
  • One online shift per week (your choice of timing)

What We Provide

  • Professional office space in our established Victoria clinic
  • Administrative support for billing and scheduling
  • Regular referrals from our intake waitlist
  • Peer consultation (optional group sessions and on-call support)
  • Satir-trained consultation available for those interested in this modality
  • Collegial environment with 4 clinicians in Victoria, 9 across both locations

Requirements

  • Master's degree in counselling or related field
  • Current registration with BCACC, CCPA, or BCASW
  • Liability insurance
  • Ability to reliably commute to Victoria office
  • Available to start January 2026

Pay: $95.00-$125.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
