  • Identification of gaps in the market or segments where LBG are not currently achieving natural market share, through analysis of internal and external market data.

  • Responding to a fast-moving regulatory environment and identifying opportunities to mobilise response to changes as pace.

  • Identification and management of risks associated with mortgage products and propositions, e.g. Consumer Duty risk and Customer Fair Value Risk

  • Working collaboratively with a broad range of collaborators across the Group, to identify requirements and collaborate to achieve Homes strategic ambitions

  • Building and delivering compelling storyboards to provide leaders with insight and influence prioritisation.

Essential Skills

  • Product & Proposition Development – Proven experience delivering end‑to‑end products or propositions into the external market.

  • Strategic Thinking – Ability to develop strategy, turn insight into plans, and execute them effectively.

  • Analytical Capability – Comfortable working with data, market insight and analytical tools to form evidence‑based conclusions and recommendations.

  • Communication Excellence – Able to create clear, concise storyboards for senior audiences and articulate complex concepts simply.

  • Stakeholder Management – Skilled at influencing, collaborating and navigating diverse teams to deliver outcomes.

  • Customer & Market Insight – Strong motivation to build deep customer and broker understanding to shape innovative propositions.

  • Proactive & Curious Mindset – A self‑starter who brings energy, curiosity and a drive to push forward change.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience working on First‑Time Buyer propositions or wider mortgage lending initiatives.

  • Understanding of mortgage policy, criteria or regulatory change.

  • Exposure to intermediary/broker relationships or intermediary‑led distribution models.

  • Experience building leadership‑ready presentations that influence prioritisation and decision‑making
