Your New Company

Join a dynamic and fast-growing Architectural practice based in downtown Vancouver, BC. This firm is redefining the architectural process by focusing on efficient, code-compliant solutions for commercial and multi-residential clients across British Columbia. Rather than traditional design-driven work, the team specializes in navigating regulatory and permitting challenges, helping clients in hospitality, retail, and housing sectors open, expand, or adapt their spaces. The company also partners with a technology firm to integrate systems-thinking and automation into its architectural workflows.

Your New Role

As an Architect or Intern Architect, you'll be part of a small, collaborative team managing a high volume of smaller-scale projects. You'll take ownership of permit drawing packages, coordinate with municipalities and consultants, and contribute to the evolution of internal systems. This role offers significant autonomy and rapid growth potential for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, problem-solving environment.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Minimum 3 years of architectural experience in British Columbia
  • Registered Architect, Intern Architect, or Architectural Technologist (or working toward registration)
  • Proficiency in Revit and experience delivering full permit drawing sets
  • Strong understanding of BC Building Code and municipal permitting processes
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and client communication abilities
  • Interest in system improvement, automation, and digital workflows

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with VBBL and BCBC
  • Experience with modular housing or tenant improvement projects
  • Comfort managing multiple small-scale projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets and project tracking tools

What You'll Get in Return

  • Competitive salary of $70,000–$95,000+ depending on experience
  • Flexible hybrid work model (2 days in office, 3 remote)
  • Opportunities for rapid advancement based on performance
  • Creative, business-focused environment without design pressure
  • Team culture that values autonomy, efficiency, and innovation
  • Perks include flexible hours and the chance to shape internal systems
