My client, a leading technology consulting practice, is seeking an experienced
ServiceNow Technical Architect
to join its
national ServiceNow team
. This is a strategic, hands-on role for an architect who enjoys setting technical direction, influencing stakeholders, and delivering secure, scalable, and high-performing ServiceNow platforms in complex enterprise environments.
What You'll Be Doing
- Architect and design end-to-end ServiceNow solutions aligned with business goals and enterprise architecture standards
- Define and enforce ServiceNow architectural best practices, governance models, and technical standards
- Lead technical design workshops and evaluate new ServiceNow capabilities to drive innovation and platform optimization
- Design and oversee integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and JSON/XML
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, resilient technical solutions
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams on complex workflows, custom apps, and integrations
- Ensure platform security, performance, and reliability through proactive risk management and continuous improvement
- Develop and maintain architecture documentation, solution blueprints, and technical standards
- Communicate architectural vision and technical strategy to senior leaders and executives
What My Client Is Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- ServiceNow certifications such as
CSA, CAD, or Implementation Specialist
(CTA is a strong asset) - 7+ years of hands-on ServiceNow experience, including solution architecture and technical leadership
- Proven experience delivering complex, enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementations
- Strong expertise in
JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AngularJS
, and ServiceNow integration technologies - Experience implementing
DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and source control
within ServiceNow - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence technical direction
- Knowledge of
ITSM frameworks and ITIL (v3 or later)
is an asset - Exposure to other ITSM platforms is a plus
