Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Marine Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience with both power and hand tools. As a Marine Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of various marine equipment and systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety for our clients.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough inspections of marine vessels to identify issues and necessary repairs.
  • Perform routine maintenance on engines, electrical systems, and other mechanical components.
  • Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to execute repairs and installations.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical problems and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and time spent on each task.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Adhere to safety protocols while working in the shop or on-site at various marine locations.

Requirements

  • Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in marine systems preferred.
  • Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
  • Willingness to learn new techniques and stay updated on industry advancements.
  • A valid driver's license may be required for travel to job sites.
