What You'll Do:
- Align with vendor marketing teams to strategically plan and seamlessly execute a variety of events.
- Collaborate with event stakeholders to develop event requirements, budgets, and proposals.
- Research and recommend appropriate venues and suppliers for events.
- Negotiate contracts with event suppliers.
- Manage event budgets, including projections, tracking, and final reconciliations.
- Develop event agendas, coordinate logistics, and contract audio-visual and other third-party suppliers.
- Coordinate all event communications, including registration, for attendees.
- Utilize databases and other tools to manage, track, forecast, and report on attendee tracking events.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For:
- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience.
- Post-secondary education in Hospitality, Marketing, or related fields (e.g., Advertising, Public Relations).
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to drive tasks to completion.
- Knowledge of basic accounting and budget management, including projections and reconciliations.
- Attention to detail with accuracy and efficiency.
- Ability to analyze and resolve complex issues in a timely manner.
- Effective networking skills to build solid working relationships with various stakeholders.
- Ability to work constructively under stress and pressure with high workloads and deadlines.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to promote and sell ideas persuasively.
- Physical ability to lift and move up to 20 lbs.
- Ability to be on your feet for long periods during events.
- Flexibility to work outside of typical "9 to 5" hours as dictated by event projects.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Cvent or other registration and virtual event platforms is a plus.
- Knowledge of the IT Channel is a plus.
- Open to frequent travel throughout Canada and the United States to support event execution.

Ce que vous ferez :
- Collaborer avec les équipes marketing des fournisseurs pour planifier stratégiquement et exécuter efficacement une variété d'événements.
- Travailler avec les parties prenantes pour définir les besoins, les budgets et les propositions d'événements.
- Rechercher et recommander des lieux et fournisseurs appropriés.
- Négocier les contrats avec les fournisseurs d'événements.
- Gérer les budgets d'événements, y compris les prévisions, le suivi et les rapprochements finaux.
- Élaborer les programmes d'événements, coordonner la logistique et gérer les fournisseurs tiers (audiovisuel, etc.).
- Coordonner toutes les communications liées aux événements, y compris l'inscription des participants.
- Utiliser des bases de données et autres outils pour gérer, suivre, prévoir et produire des rapports sur la participation aux événements.
- Effectuer toute autre tâche connexe selon les besoins.
Ce que nous recherchons :
- De 2 à 4 ans d'expérience pertinente.
- Formation postsecondaire en hôtellerie, marketing ou domaines connexes (ex. : publicité, relations publiques).
- Excellentes compétences en organisation et en gestion du temps, avec la capacité de mener les tâches à terme.
- Connaissances de base en comptabilité et en gestion budgétaire, incluant les prévisions et les rapprochements.
- Grand souci du détail, avec précision et efficacité.
- Capacité à analyser et résoudre des problèmes complexes rapidement.
- Aptitudes en réseautage pour établir des relations solides avec divers intervenants.
- Capacité à travailler efficacement sous pression, avec des charges de travail élevées et des délais serrés.
- Autonomie et capacité à travailler avec un minimum de supervision.
- Compétences en négociation et capacité à promouvoir et vendre des idées de manière persuasive.
- Capacité physique à soulever et déplacer jusqu'à 20 livres.
- Capacité à rester debout pendant de longues périodes lors des événements.
- Flexibilité pour travailler en dehors des heures normales (9 h à 17 h), selon les besoins des projets.
- Discrétion et capacité à maintenir la confidentialité des informations sensibles.
- Maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office, en particulier Excel et PowerPoint. Connaissance de Cvent ou d'autres plateformes d'inscription et d'événements virtuels est un atout.
- Connaissance du secteur des technologies de l'information (IT Channel) est un atout.
- Disponibilité pour des déplacements fréquents au Canada et aux États-Unis pour soutenir la réalisation des événements.
