Role Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Travelling Construction Site Supervisor to oversee projects across Canada. This position involves managing one active site at a time or two within the same building. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and experienced in coordinating trades, inspections, and documentation while keeping projects on schedule and within scope.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day to day site operations to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to company quality standards
- Prepare and submit professional daily and weekly reports using Microsoft Office applications or other approved software
- Coordinate trades, deliveries, and inspections with Project Managers and Executive Staff
- Travel to project locations across Canada to oversee work from mobilization through completion
- Enforce health and safety compliance and ensure site procedures meet company and regulatory standards
- Review drawings, specifications, and scopes of work to verify details and address any issues promptly
- Communicate project progress and site updates clearly and regularly with the Project Manager
- Maintain accurate site documentation, inspection reports, and closeout records
- Promote a professional, safe, and positive work environment at all times
Qualifications
- Minimum three years of experience as a Site Supervisor or equivalent role in commercial or residential construction
- Strong knowledge of Canadian building codes, construction methods, and safety standards
- Must be efficient with computers and Microsoft Office for reporting and communication
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel extensively throughout Canada
- Proven ability to manage trades and schedules effectively on one primary job site
- Experience with national retail or commercial construction is an asset
