**Securitas Canada is currently seeking a Security Supervisor for our client in Concord, Ontario. Our client deals in new and used**heavy equipment**, engines, and generators, along with technology solutions and support services.** **You thrive in team environments and have a great attitude and passion for the security of people and property.**

**Position**: Site Security Supervisor

**Location**: Concord, Ontario

**Shift**: Monday-Friday (1500 to 2300)

**Wage**:20.25 an hour

**SUMMARY** Maintains security and safety of people and property in assigned data center. Observes and reports activities and incidents. Management of security teams in various environments.

**Responsibilities**include,**but**not**limited**to**:

- Ensure all deliveries/ contractors are registered and authorized to be on site before providing access to yard.
- Continuous monitoring security cameras for suspicious activity.
- Complete long foot patrols of all exterior and interior areas of property.
- Reminding all visitors of Toromont’s Health & Safety guidelines for the facility and yard.
- Contact Toromont staff, if necessary, when visitors, contractors/ deliveries arrive.
- Under the direction of the District Manager, assist with all administrative duties for the Security Department
- Ordering supplies
- Scheduling weekly and extra coverage.
- Provide support to the facility team in emergency situations.
- Perform weekly audits of Security patrols, incident reports and equipment.
- All other duties as assigned by the District Manager and Facility Manager.

**Specific**qualifications**for**this**position**include**:

- Able to work with all levels of management within site and as well as with unionized employees
- Having a valid Security Guard license in the Province of Ontario.
- Advanced Computer Skills
- Excellent telephone and verbal communication skills
- A post-Secondary education (preferred)
- 2-3 years of previous leadership experience
- Having a valid Standard First Aid / AED / CPR certificate
