About the Role

We are seeking a reliable, caring, and enthusiastic Supply Childcare Worker to join our team on an as-needed basis. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children and values flexibility. As a supply staff member, you will support our childcare educators by filling in during staff absences, busy periods, and special events.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities
  • Maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment
  • Support daily routines, including meals, transitions, and outdoor play
  • Follow all center policies, licensing requirements, and health & safety protocols
  • Work collaboratively with permanent staff and communicate effectively with families

Requirements

  • Previous childcare experience required
  • Ability to adapt to different classroom environments and age groups
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Dependable, punctual, and flexible availability
  • Valid certifications as required by local regulations (e.g., First Aid/CPR, background check)
