Why this role is important?
SANIS HEALTH INC (a division of Shoppers Drug Mart) is looking to hire a student during the 2026 Winter semester within our Sanis Supply Chain and Operations department. The scope of the role encompasses the following broad functions: forecasting, demand / supply planning, inventory management, market dynamics, analytical modeling, reporting and decision support. The Student will work with Sanis Supply Chain and Operations Team members to ensure a successful outcome.

What You'll Do:

  • Support the supply chain and operations team in day-to-day activities
  • Development and distribution of key reports
  • Maintain product and portfolio master material data
  • Participate in special projects
  • Assume other tasks and responsibilities as assigned

Job Qualifications:

  • Expert level with Excel, Power BI, VBA, Access, SQL (and other relational databases)
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Statistics background
  • Experienced in SAP would be considered an asset
  • Proactive in learning and highly self-motivated
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills
  • Strong time management skills and problem-solving skills
  • Post-secondary education and experience in supply chain and operations or pharmaceuticals would be an asset
